Alexander Zwick, Composer

Alexander Zwick has had a love of musical theater since he was a child and saw Starlight Express on Broadway. 

The passion only increased when he starred as the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance in drama camp when he was twelve. 

Born and raised in Los Angeles, he graduated from UCLA and then worked in television for a few years before becoming an elementary school teacher for twenty years, all the while pursuing music, songwriting, and screenwriting. 

Each year, his fourth grade class performed an original musical which he wrote, produced, and directed. He now licenses those musicals to schools around the world and his original rock/pop music, including his most recent album “Fairy Tales” can be found on streaming platforms
